ADA/Interior – We refer to any signs that are located ‘in” someplace as interior signs. They could be in a kitchen, restroom, showroom, swimming pool, even on a telephone (the faceplate that gives you dialing instructions in a hotel). So what are ADA signs anyway? ADA stands for the Americans with Disabilities Act. ADA provides those with special needs, access to public places. These signs include raised text and graphics and Braille. Most office buildings, and all public places are required to provide this type of signage for suite numbers, directional and restroom signs.
